"Anxiety Day was made on a special spring day in 2024 when the sun shone beautifully, the birds chirped and the whole of Norway enjoyed the fresh heat that was on its way into the country. Inside the artist's little head, on the other hand, it was quite dark. It was impatience, longing, anxiety and fear that created lots of energy in the body. Monkii didn't know what to do. Well, then you paint. And so this fireworks of a colorful painting was created on a spring day in Drammen. " - MONKII

"Anxiety Day ble laget på en spesiell vårdag i 2024 da solen skinte vakkert, fuglene kvitret og hele Norge nøt den friske varmen som var på vei inn i landet. Inne i kunstnerens lille hode derimot var det ganske så mørkt. Det var utålmodighet, lengsel, frykt og redsel som skapte massevis med energi i kroppen. Monkii visste ikke hva h*n skulle gjøre.. Jo, da maler man. Og slik ble dette fyrverkeriet av et fargesprakende maleri til på en vårdag i Drammen. " - MONKII
